Classic brand of stationery: Introduction to Parker pens

The founder of Parker pens - George Parker was born in 1863 in Schullsburg, Wisconsin, USA. From 1880 onwards George Parker worked at the Valentine School. To supplement his poor salary, George Parker became a middleman, selling pens to his students, mainly for John Holland's fountain pen company. Like many fountain pens of the time, these pens always had technical problems, including leaking ink and faulty ink supply. After receiving many complaints from his students, George Packer began volunteering to fix the pens for them. He took each pen apart, repaired it, and returned it to the student. To eradicate these defects, George Packer, with his experience in mechanics, designed and manufactured his own fountain pen, the Packer pen. And in 1888, he founded the Parker Company. George Packer believed that people would only buy a product if it was "perfected". This business philosophy has guided the company's commitment to making "better pens". This is the culture that has been embedded in Parker pens for over a century.
